Date Required:Spring Term 2025
Salary:HLTA 14 flexi hours: pay range 19-24
TA 14.33 hours: pay range 3-7

Hours:All day 8.30am – 3.25pm (1 hour lunch)
39 weeks term time plus 5 training days plus 5 weeks holiday - 45 weeks
NO holidays in term time
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated TA/HLTA to join our hard-working and friendly team. This appointment will be a 50/50 split between the HLTA role and Teaching Assistant role.
The successful candidate will be:
willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school
able to work productively and supportively within our whole school team
able to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and good organisational skills
confident in supporting pupils to become independent learners
approachable, patient and understanding
confident in planning, delivering and assessing an aspect of the foundation curriculum
The main duties of the HLTA aspect of the role within our school will be to cover PPA for both teachers in a given year group, cover teachers’ sickness absence within a given year group as required and support the learning and teaching within a given class, as directed by the class teacher(s).
The successful candidate must hold at least a GSCE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths, have proven experience as a teaching assistant and demonstrate the experience or aspiration to become a strong HLTA.

Before and After School Provision Team Member
Mon – Fri – 7.45am – 8.45am and 3.15pm to 5.15pm (15 hours in total)
£12.26 per hour
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Before and After School Provision Team Member to join our team. You will play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children attending our wraparound care sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate games, crafts, and play-based learning opportunities.
- Support children’s social and emotional development through positive interactions.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are always followed.
- Prepare and serve snacks in line with food hygiene regulations.
- Set up and tidy away resources, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
- Manage behaviour in a fair and consistent manner, in line with school policies.
- Assist with registration and record-keeping as required.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (preferred).
- A friendly, patient, and caring approach.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided).
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required.
- A relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential).
- First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications (or willingness to obtain them).
