Our OFSTED report
We are delighted to share our Ofsted report with you. As you know we had a team of inspectors visit us on February 8th and 9th and the report below is a summary of their findings.
The main headline is that:
ST. HELEN’S IS A GOOD SCHOOL
The report certainly identifies our strengths and they understood all the effort put in by staff and pupils to ensure “a culture of mutual respect flows through the school”.
As you know this is the core of our Mission Statement and so we are pleased that through talking to pupils, families and staff they could see this in practice.
Thank you to those of you who shared your views with the inspectors – this was much appreciated especially as there was a very short period of time to do so.
As a Catholic school, we will also be inspected under the Catholic School Inspection framework (a new framework this year) and we are expecting that inspection also this year.
This is why we asked you to complete The Catholic life of our School questionnaire at the Learning Conferences – another thank you to many of you for completing this questionnaire also.
We hope that you enjoy reading our GOOD Ofsted report!
With kind regards,
Elizabeth Mouchel
