Catholic Schools Citizenship Awards

The Brentwood Diocesan Education Service are delighted to confirm that the Catholic Schools Citizenship Awards 2024 will be taking place again this year.

Examples of previous award recipients include:

  • Saving a life;
  • Protecting an individual from injury or harm;
  • Courage in the face of adversity;
  • Resilience in battling illness;
  • Bravery and peace in coping with the loss of a parent or sibling;
  • A passionate advocate of a cause resulting in demonstrable change;
  • Extraordinary care and kindness;
  • Exemplary charity (raising and giving of one-self);
  • Continuous modest self-sacrifice.

You are invited to nominate pupils who have displayed outstanding awareness of good citizenship.

Other examples could include:

Volunteering

Visiting the elderly

Altar Serving

Helping in the parish

Helping others

‘Taking part’

Giving to charity

Nominate them for Citizen of the Year by filling out the forms which are being emailed to you. Please return by Friday 7th June 2024
