Let's get Reading in Silly Places!

Jul 2, 2020, 9:13 AM

This week’s Southend Libraries Summer Reading Challenge, Silly Squad competition asks children for pictures or photos of themselves or a family member (or pet or even cuddly toy) reading in Silly Places! The silliest, most unusual or creative picture or photo wins an Official Summer Reading Challenge GOLD MEDAL! All photos will be shared on our social media pages the following week. #SillySquad2020 #LetsGetSilly

Please make sure photos do not contain the person’s face unless you have their permission.

All entries to librarydevelopment@southend.gov.uk by Sunday 5th July

At the end of the Summer all competition entries will be entered into a prize draw for ADVENTURE ISLAND wristbands.

We have also been running an online Brick Building (Lego) club asking for children to send us photos each week of their creations within different set themes (this week it’s Homes). All entries also to librarydevelopment@southend.gov.uk
